For National Apprenticeship Week in the UK, Group Metropolitan organized a roundtable promoting technical career development through apprenticeship.
Bringing together leaders in policy and private industry to champion skills development and foster collaboration, the roundtable also invited current apprentices for an honest conversation on clear pathways for young people to develop in the skilled trades.
In praise of the event, an attendee’s industry group posted: “Bringing together voices from across industry, government, and apprentices themselves is exactly what’s needed to move the needle on skills and career pathways.”
Operating in the UK, Group Metropolitan has been a TEGG contractor since 2006, offering proactive maintenance and testing to protect critical infrastructure and optimize electrical asset management.
